Expect music, movement and plenty of fun.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Official Christmas Lights Switch-On \u2013 20.00<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>At 20.00, the lights will be officially switched on along Avenida Marqu\u00e9s del Duero showcasing this year\u2019s glittering light designs in all of their Christmas glory. Located on one of Marbella\u2019s prettiest avenues, with palm trees festooned in twinkling lights, there are over 30 stalls offering crafts, gifts, handmade gifts and delicious festive bites. \u00a0The official opening will include cheerleader elves, aerial acrobats, dancing lights, magical effects and even a flurry of \u201csnowfall\u201d that brings winter wonder to Marbella. It\u2019s the perfect family-friendly way to launch a season filled with sparkle and excitement.<\/p><p>Throughout December until 5<sup>th<\/sup> January 2026, the market stage offers nonstop free entertainment; Children can meet characters like Minnie Mouse, Shrek, Harry Potter and Dumbledore. There will be K-pop discos, magic shows, festive storytelling, craft workshops and many more surprises to keep the magic flowing. Opening hours 12:00 and 22:00 daily.<\/p><h4>Marbella\u2019s grand opening &amp; light switch-on \u2013 29<sup>th<\/sup> November<\/h4><p>Marbella officially welcomes Christmas the next day with a full, magical programme of events planned to wow the entire family.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Moon Fairies Parade Returns (City Centre)\u00a0 &#8211; 18.30 \u2013 20.00<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>In the morning, hot on the success of the parade in San Pedro on the previous day, the Moon Fairies Parade will take place (again) in Marbella\u2019s Old Town, winding through picturesque plazas, avenues and streets. With incredible artists like Capullo de Jerez, Diego Carrasco, Maloko Soto, An\u00e9 Carrasco and Rafael Soto taking the stage, it promises to be a spectacular celebration.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4>Puerto Ban\u00fas Ice Rink \u2013 5<sup>th<\/sup> December to 6<sup>th<\/sup> January<\/h4><p>Puerto Ban\u00fas is part of the municipality of Marbella, connected to the city by the world-famous Marbella Golden Mile, so we have to mention the Christmas ice rink. This popular attraction will be located in Plaza Antonio Banderas, offering a fun festive activity for children and families.
